Each project is unique with its own set of challenges and requirements. As RIBA Chartered Architects, we follow the RIBA stages for projects to ensure we provide a personal and professional service.
Stages A-B: APPRAISAL to FEASIBILITY:
Initial meetings allowing us to assess your needs and offer advice to form a strategy for taking the project forward - looking at what can be achieved, necessary approvals and whether any other specialist Consultants are required.
Stage C: OUTLINE PROPOSALS:
We work up and discuss an initial scheme, possibly with various options, making changes as necessary.
Stage D: DETAILED PROPOSALS:
The project will then be developed and where appropriate, finalized for an application with the local planning authority. This may also involve working with a team of other Consultants to ensure all planning issues are dealt with.
Stages E-F: FINAL PROPOSALS TO PRODUCTION INFORMATION: Once permission is received the drawings will be developed with more technical information for a building regulations submission.
Stage G: TENDER DOCUMENTATION:
We assist in obtaining suitable quotes for the work to be carried out on site.
Stages H-L: MOBILISATION TO PRACTCAL COMPLETION: We also assist in drawing up contract documents and thereafter provide site management services to ensure that throughout the works on site, budgets are kept to and progress is maintained.
Not all stages may be necessary for your particular project. We will be happy to agree what services you require to ensure that you have a cost effective solution to your design. Our aim is to help you along the way to turn the ideas that you have into a reality - as smoothly as possible.
