WHO: Nick Turner, Director: I studied at Oxford Polytechnic and qualified with B.A.(Hons) and Dipl. Arch. RIBA part III qualifications in 1989 lead to Chartered Architect membership. I am also an ARB registered Architect.
WHAT: Turner Designs undertakes all varieties of projects, mainly in the residential and commercial markets. This involves working for one off private clients as well as larger commercial developers. We have also collaborated with other architectural practices.
WHY: Having worked for a number of award winning local practices in an around Oxford, it was time to set up my own practice with the aim of providing clients with quality design and technical experience in a one to one relationship to realise their aims.
WHEN: Turner Designs was finally set up in January 2005, after many years of working concurrently with other practices.
WHERE: Turner Designs are based in North Oxford. We feel this is the best location to reach all new and existing clients. The main base for their work is Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, although they have undertaken work as far north as Scotland and far south as Cape Town, S. Africa
HOW: We aim to get it all done with the least hassle to you the client. In addition to our regular work, we have also been involved in the RIBA/ Shelter charity work which provides architectural advice for a worthwhile homeless charity.
